Federico Sutera was born in Venice in 1978, in 2003 he graduated in Economy of Tourism. Two years later he moved to Madrid, where he studied documentary photography and worked on his first professional projects collaborating with Notimex Press agency and some institutions such as Feaps Madrid. In 2010 he moved back to Italy. He is currently based in Venice and works as a professional photographer at Xframe Studio which he founded in 2011.
He works on his personal projects with particular focus on social subjects connected to territory and environment as well as commercial ones and collaborates with the photo agency Parallelozero (Milan).
His work has been published in magazines such as L'Espresso, Io Donna, Le Courrier, L'illustrè, Geo Wissen, Geo France, Bauwelt, Condenast Travel and many others.
