kazakh-tatar artist, photographer. born and raised in the post-soviet urban environment. in my practice, I explore themes of vulnerability, borderline state of dream and death, nostalgia and anthropocene.
graduated the theater faculty of the kazakh academy of arts in almaty, also studied documentary and conceptual photography at docdocdoc in saint petersburg.
I am interested in history and philosophy of photography, alternative methods of printing, creating photobooks and zines.
