Fima Furman is a Newton, MA based photographer. An avid photographer since childhood, he has worked seriously in fine-art photography for the past decade. His series Thresholds was exhibited in Stories in Transition at the Wedeman Gallery, Lasell University (Newton, MA, 2025). He co-organized and exhibited in YAHAD: Together, a benefit exhibition at Warehouse XI (Somerville, MA, 2024). His work attends to what we usually look past — the spaces between motion and quiet, light and shadow, and the quiet performances of light on surfaces we’ve stopped seeing. His ongoing work has been developed in close collaboration with TurnPark Art Space and the 5Rhythms dance community.
