George Weiss – Artist statement
Inspired by my late dad who left me his 50's Leica and a collection of over 2000 photo slides he took during his travels and work in the field as a geologist, I have started my adventure of photography with a Kodak Instamatic in my early teens.
Photography has been a big part of my life, mainly to document and for travels. Reluctantly I have finally made the jump to a digital ten years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed the possibilities that came along with it.
Completed my studies for Cert. III and IV in visual arts (Photography) in 2019
