About Giovanni Zoda

Giovanni Zoda was born in 1980 in Catania where he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts. He holds a Master's degree in Art for the liturgy and a PhD in Art and Multimedia from Kore University in Enna.
Dedicated to painting and sculpture at a very young age, since 2003 he has been present in numerous group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
In 2009, 2013 and 2022 he made three "solo exhibition" in Rome, Catania and Milan. His works have been exhibited in prestigious public institutions including the Venice Biennale (54th edition), the Permanent Museum and the Pac Museum in Milan, the Palace of Caserta, the Solyst Museum in Copenhagen, the Chateau du Terral in France.
Now he lives in Milan and has been dedicating to photography for many years, which considers a " free-context language" that lends itself both to the study and experimentation on the image and to the deepening of an aesthetic field . This research opens up to a new forms of representation, outside any "narrative" elements. He has participated in numerous exhibitions.
