A recent graduate of the two-year full-time Diploma program at the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa I am an emerging Ottawa based visual artist employing medium format film and composite digital media. Influenced by David Thoreau's observation "It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see!", I examine the over-looked familiar and vernacular as vehicles withy which to stimulate viewers to insight, not only of what they are seeing but how they see - the difference between 'looking' and 'seeing'.
