Göran started to be interested in photography when he was 10 years old joining his uncle in the darkroom where he developed photos on the family and nudes. Soon he became an enthusiastic teenager photographer and at the age of 13 he arranged a darkroom in the bathroom of his family’s apartment. He took his bike and cycled around Malmö taking pictures on social and political events and tried to sell pictures to various newspapers. When he was 16 he wanted to attend the School of Photography ’Christer Strömholm’ in Stockholm but he never did. Instead he worked as a social worker and therapist the whole life.
But, under all this years his passion for photography has always been alive and now at 71 years old he can completely dedicate himself to this amazing, creative play. He studied photography as a projekt at Sörängens folkhögskola 2022-2023.
