Australian born photographer Grant Smith's love of the ocean and nomadic outdoor adventure influences his work. Coming from a long line of seafaring heritage, his grandfather a World War II navy veteran and father a marine mechanic.
Smith has a relentless urge to travel, tell stories and document subcultures through photography, in both film and digital format.
When he's not taking pictures, he can be found at the beach, indulging his other lifelong passion, surfing.
