While I carried around a camera with me on and off over the years, it was only in July 2015 that I decided to start photography as a serious hobby. Since then I have endeavoured to develop my skills as a photographer, trying many different genres to see what works for me, what interests me and what will be my focus in the future.
Initially Scenic or Scapes and Nature and Wildlife dominated my images: however, I am developing my skills in Street and Travel photography and find both an interesting and challenging exercise.
I have been strongly influenced by two key messages: 'Why this shot, why now' and 'Think like a 2nd photographer'.
