Prior to coming out as a gay man in 1983, Kentucky born photographer, Greg Reynolds(1952) served as a Campus Minister for a large, conservative evangelical Christian youth organization. Photographs that he began to take at that time became the basis of his first photobook, 'Jesus Days, 1978-1983' (published by Bywater Brothers, Canada in 2014). In 2017, curator Francesco Zanot included 'Jesus Days' in the inaugural group exhibition 'Give Me Yesterday' of the Prada Foundation's Osservatorio Gallery in Milan, Italy. Reynolds obtained an MFA in Film from Columbia University, NYC. and assisted at the School of the ICP. Due to the declining health of his aging parents, Reynolds relocated from New York and Berlin back to his home state in 2014. He continues to make new images and to work on new photobooks from his archive of photographs: 'Possibly maybe' (Men's portraits from 1989-2014); Berlin Mobile Diary, 2013-2014; and 'Evidence', family pictures..
