About Guillermo España

I was born in Rosario, Argentina. From the very first moment, I started traveling (22) I started taking photos of the streets I'd visit.

At the age of 26, I did a bachelor's in Sociology in La Plata (Arg). There, I specialised in migration studies and visual research and did several photo exhibitions. At the same time, I had a side job as a live music photographer.

After I graduated, I moved to Amsterdam and completed a master's in Anthropology. I think my street photography is heavily influenced by my background in social sciences, always putting emphasis on the human element.

I was published in magazines such as Revista FotoArgenta (Arg) and La Pulseada (Arg).

I am currently working on environmental issues that affect my home town.
