Helen K. Garber

My work is in the permanent collections of the Getty Center, LACMA, the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of the City of NY, MOMA Dublin and the archives of the Venice Biennale, Italy among others.
I lived in the city most of my life and am known for my night urban landscapes. The rural life has informed my work of the last five years while living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Horses, dogs, birds, color and the landscape are my present focus. I have started a human portrait project, Women Warriors about middle age to senior women who work their ranches in the South West.
