Currently working in IT to pay the mortgage, returning to art and in particular photography after many years away to reignite a creative passion. Previously trained as a sculpture, furniture designer/restorer, I have been a teacher and spent time working in the middle east as an engineer, also worked offshore and spent many stormy nights in the make do darkroom of the oil rig developing an printing images. I have rediscovered my creativity, which seems to have been hidden under a mountain of work and responsibly. My interest lies in seeing the geometry and shapes of objects and isolating them without context. I lean to the conceptual and abstract, trying to tell a story about what I see.
