Jacopo Mazzeo is an award-winning UK-based journalist, photographer, and consultant. He regularly contributes to trade and consumer publications, generally focusing on wine or drinks-related topics; he consults on consumer trends and marketing strategies; and judges international wine, beer, and spirits competitions. Before he embraced full-time journalism, he studied musicology at the University of Bologna, took a PhD at the University of Southampton, and worked as a sommelier.
