Jacque was born in Kelantan, Malaysia and is currently living in Doha, Qatar. He is a regular participant of the On The Road workshops by Magnum's photographer Nikos Economopoulos since 2012. He has also joined various classes in International Center of Photography (ICP) including the ones taught by Ernesto Bazan, Harvey Stein and Karen Marshall.
