James B Abbott is a photographer based in Philadelphia,PA where he has maintained a gallery/studio since1982. His long term projects include Philadelphia Riverfront/Ben Franklin Bridge 1983-2003, Berlin Sightlines 1988-1992 & 2012-2013, The Landscape before Me: Cape Cod 2000-2012, Florence and Venice Italy 2013-2021 [ongoing].
Abbott graduated from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI, and over the course of twenty five years has received numerous, grants, awards, residencies, commissions, and maintained a freelance photography practice.
