Although I have been interested in photography for many years, it is only in the past two years that I have immersed myself mostly in landscape photography, and to a lesser extent on portraiture. Having travelled to over a dozen countries in the past two years, I have come across much beautiful scenery and a great assortment of the local population where I have had opportunities to also take portraits where interesting subjects presented themselves. Now I realise that I could present some of my portraits to competitions to assess my chances of getting an award.
