Jenny Magruder is an artist working with film and digital images to explore the nature of the uncanny, revealing glimpses of an unconscious mind. Driven to express selfhood, her work is inspired by dreams, memories, surrealism and the natural world. Jenny holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts in photographic illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology (2012) and has exhibited her work nationally as well as internationally such as Somerset House London and The Great Highway Gallery. Her work has been printed by Black Flower Publishing and The Sun Magazine. She is currently based in Buffalo, NY and continues to make new work.
