About Jérémie Carboni

Carboni was born in 1980 and grew up in several European countries: France, Greece, Italy, and Hungary. Alongside his work as a writer, director and film producer, he has practiced photography for over thirty years. Passionate about black-and-white photography, he uses Nikon FM2 and FA cameras, as well as a Leica M2, to photograph both anonymous subjects and well-known figures (David Lynch, Émir Kusturica, Jean Michel Jarre, etc). He took part in group exhibitions in Rome (at at the Fine Arts Academy) in 2002 and in Paris (at galleria Thuillier) in 2006. In 2025, he received an honorable mention at an international competition.
