Jerry Garcia is a native of Los Angeles, California who is too old to have been named after The Grateful Dead guitar hero. He spent his childhood fearing the bomb and was a teenager during the Summer of Love. He studied Communication Arts at Loyola Marymount University during the Watergate Era and became a film editor the year of Star Wars. He has been a producer and editor of television commercials, documentaries and motion picture previews. He shoots both film and digital with Nikons & occasionally a cellphone.
