About Jim Divine

My passion for photography began when I was about ten. I was given the gift of a photography book; 'TIME - Big Book of London'. Almost every image in that book intrigued me, from Big Ben to the Beefeaters, the massive dinosaur skeletons in the Natural History Museum to the Pearly king's and queens, the big black door of 10 Downing Street to a homeless man sleeping on a bench in Hyde Park with his black and white cat. Over the years I knew every page of that book, and although I was too young to understand what many of the images represented I loved the immense range of feelings they gave me.
Since then I've been learning how to capture images to try to convey similar feelings.
