Jimi is renowned for his ability to blend social documentary and portraiture in an informal and fluid approach. The resulting style allows him to create arresting images of iconic events whilst avoiding cliche. His work at the G8 protests earned him widespread acclaim at Europe's biggest and most prestigious photography competition, The Prix de la Photographie, Paris (Px3).
A Glaswegian based in London, Jimi is influenced by urban living and city dynamics. He has worked with Manufractured Records, Spit and Polish Records, P-Vine Japan/Fusion Music and Red Bull. His editorial work has appeared in national press, including the London Times Magazine and The Scotsman.
