Born in Norway, Joachim has lived across four continents from a young age and has been impacted by the traveller’s desire to seek out spontaneous and entrancing moments wherever he lands.
In 2011, he settled in London, launching out from here to cities across the world with his Rolleiflex to capture what he encountered. In 2017, he contributed to the photographic project ‘Obsolete and Discontinued’, with images from his travels to New York featured in the book ‘Obsolete & Discontinued’ (Brovira Press, 2018) and exhibited in group shows in London (Waterstones, 2018), Naples (Magazzini Fotografici, 2019)
