Joanna Pawłowska
Born 12.12.1973.Based in Cracow / Poland.
I am a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań.
This artistic school has shaped my view of photography as an art equal to painting, graphics and sculpture. However, from the moment I graduated, the process of getting to know, realising and changing my approach to this medium has been continuing in me.
The interest in the individual, the topic of searching for identity, the relationship of man with the environment, the dark side of human existence has accompanied me for the greater part of my artistic work.
At the moment I work on a book "Fixation" which will contain pictures from last few years.
