About Joe Wolf

ZEN is my eye. It allows me to see different.

My photographic journey started at the age of 20.
Having to fiddle with the chemistry that makes particles on film visible was my daily job. I was curious about almost all the segments in photography and worked for still life, color processing, stage photography in theaters and cabarets. After several exhibitions and meanwhile equipped with a bunch of high-end stuff I dropped photography in a second. My studio burned down.
I was lucky enough continuing work in art related environments and forgot the camera.

Shortly ago, when acting as a model for two photographers visiting me from Catalonia,
I got inspired again to continue with my photographic expedition.

I like a variety of long term projects.
Photographs are shot in a second,
redefining the subjects takes a life time ....
This is not to be understood as a promising announcement rather as a new direction of my travel.
