I'm a self-taught writer and photographer who has published a small community newspaper in Waterbury, Connecticut for the past 25 years. While many photographers scour the world for exotic images I have zeroed in on documenting the extraordinary diversity in my community, and helped organize a festival to celebrate that diversity and bring the community closer together.
