I am an IT professional and freelance photographer/writer for a local newspaper. I began shooting at 12 years old when my dad gave me a fully manual rangefinder to learn on. I like to practice full immersion photojournalism where I get to know my subjects and take part in the events I'm documenting to whatever degree I can while wearing a camera on my shoulder. I'm always looking for the odd angle, unusual arrangement, or intimate moment that this up close exposure provides.
