Jorge Pozuelo (León, Spain, 1977) is a Spanish photographer, curator, and educator whose work moves between documentary, portraiture, and artistic photography. After an early career in telecommunications, he devoted himself fully to photography and completed an MA in Photography at the University of Canterbury.
His visual language is shaped by a sustained interest in the human condition, often working through silence, tension, and the emotional weight of space. Alongside his photographic practice, he has worked as a digital photographic technician, developing expertise in professional equipment, medium-format digital systems, and color management workflows.
Pozuelo has worked with a range of editorial and commercial clients, including Silken Hotels, Adecco, FX Magazine, and Qultura magazine in Doha. His work has been shown in Spain, Belgium, and the United States, in exhibitions such as The Walls of Silence, Body Art, Art Tattoo, the Affordable Art Fair in Brussels, and the AbbVie Gallery Forum in San Diego.
He is also active as a curator and teacher, directing a photography school in Madrid and giving seminars and lectures on lighting, black-and-white photography, and visual language for institutions, associations, and photography-related companies.
