I am a third year student of the Creative Photodesign program at the Photo Academy in Rotterdam. I am a photographer with a preference for nostalgia. This is reflected in my choice of materials and in the themes of my photography projects. Identity, origin and (family) history are recurring themes. It fascinates me that a person's origin (sometimes genetic and sometimes not) generally has a major impact on individuals and the their identity. My photo camera help me in my search for the roots of individuals and their personal story and memories. Portrait photography is an important component in my projects.
