I was a freelance photographer and occasional contractual photographer of Agence-France Presse, Philippines from 1999 to 2003. During this time, I was actively involved in news and documentary photography. Due to family needs, I ventured into private business. In 2005, my family and I migrated to Melbourne, Australia. Eight years after, I was driven to the streets again to capture moments with my newly bought second-hand Leica M9 and started an untitled collection of work. Currently, I am passionate about documenting street human interests - the people of Melbourne, Australia whose vast cultural and religious background is diverse.
My project will direct me to capture and document the merging of old and new Australians; we are all migrants after all.
