Kaliban is a lens-based artist, working out of Cleveland since 2013. Their work encompasses everything from the dark room to moving image and mixed media. Mutating reality to romanticize various parts of the human condition, their work displays tangible longing. Kaliban is a recipient of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from The Cleveland Institute of Art, and an educator through The Cleveland Print Room and Holy Name High School.
