Karim Iliya, 24, is a Maui-based underwater photographer. He’s lived in over 9 countries and travelled to 28 others, learning how to adapt to different cultures and environments. From snowy mountaintops to underwater caves, he leads a nomadic lifestyle, exploring and photographing the world’s diverse natural habitats to document and photograph the world. He plans to continue traveling to extreme locations, photographing humpback, sperm whales, and other wildlife species to defend the fragile ecosystems on our planet.
