About Karin Rosenthal

I've been a fine art photographer for decades, mostly photographing abstractions of nudes in the landscape. My images reside in 17 museum collections and have been exhibited and collected internationally, winning numerous international awards. My nudes have also been shown and sold at AIPAD in NYC. My photograph in First Doubt: Optical Confusion in Modern Photography at the Yale University Art Gallery was selected to represent the show of 100 images by famous 20th Century photographers and was featured in the New York Times review. As a Resident Scholar/Artist at Brandeis University's Women's Studies Research Center, I curated an exhibition of Vivian Maier's work. I also curated a show titled 37 Photographers/ One Model of nudes of a male dancer in his fifties taken by me and my workshop students for the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA.
