Karina Azaretzky was born in Tucumán, Argentina, in 1981, and she has a degree in Visual Arts.
Her photographs are an exploration of the always changing relationship between man and nature.
In 2010 she travelled to London, on a grant sponsored by the British Council, to take part in a photographers interchange between the UK and Argentina.
Her work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1999. She received the 1st prize at Carlos María Navarro Award 2011 and the 2th prize at Caps de Arte Award 2011, among others.
She has been nominated to Leopold Godowsky, Jr. Color Photography Awards 2013 and Foam Paul Huf Award 2013
Her works are included in private and public collections.
