Karolis Čivinskas, originally from Lithuania, got involved with photography a decade ago after shifting from architecture studies to media arts. His multiple influences range from Alfred Stieglitz to the Düsseldorf school and post-war Japanese photography. Karolis’ photographic practice revolves around built environment, architecture and urban materialities.
Karolis is also an expert in urban wandering and currently explores photography as a mode of awareness. His work has been exhibited in a few group exhibitions in London. Lives and works in London.
