Kathleen Clark uses photography and mixed media to explore themes of history, social justice, language, home and heritage. She is a 2020 Critical Mass Top 50 Finalist and an Honorable Mention Project Launch Grant Recipient from Center Santa Fe and Honorable Mention awardee from PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris. She exhibited works at COCA Seattle, Portland Art Museum, Southern Exposure, San Francisco and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions. She was Director of Los Angeles galleries Spot Photo Works and Clark | Oshin Gallery.
Kathleen holds an MFA in studio art/photo from University of California, Irvine and was a faculty member at Art Center College of Design and the University of Southern California. She was also a grant recipient for collaborative work from the NEA, Oregon Arts Commission, Seattle Arts Commission. She freelance Photo Edits for Sunset magazine, and was Photo Director at Los Angeles magazine and LA Weekly.
