About Kathleen Fazekas

Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager. I have taken photography courses and workshops as well as have worked in the darkroom. Over the years and after working through my own life's challenges, it has brought more meaning into the images that I want to capture. I have always been interested in people. I enjoy talking to all types of people to discover who they are, the challenges they may face and the work they do in moving through those challenges. We are all connected by an invisible thread. It is that invisible thread that becomes visible if we just stop and take the time.

Live life in color. Life is not black and white, it is about negotiating the grey area. Life is more interesting in color and that includes meeting and having friends from all around the world with different backgrounds. My goal is capture colorful people along my journey and to stop thinking too much and just start doing. Moving one step at a time to overcome obstacles. I am taking the first steps of submitting my work into a competition. I thrive on honesty and humor.
