As a retiree, I have become serious about my life as a photographic artist. My creative life has been about connections and stories – with nature, people, animals, objects and light. I am attracted to scenes that illuminate a subject, whether by the light itself or by just a different viewpoint. I am blessed to have been allowed to interview and photograph some wonderful people. I am grateful to have received three Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council grants and one Minnesota Artist Initiative grant that have helped to make my work possible. These enabled me to be a part of the first MN Creates exhibit at the State Capitol and the Personal Best exhibit at the Minnesota State Arts Board. Thank you, Minnesota!
