About Kenneth Locker

I have had a diverse career in photography, documentary films, television and digital media. My initial introduction to photography was a course taught by Minor White at MIT. I began working in both editorial and fashion photography interning with Richard Avedon and Francesco Scavullo. On a whim I became a cinematographer on a short documentary film and ultimately entered the television industry; executive producing and supervising more than two dozen television movies and mini-series. In the late 90s I moved into the nascent digital media industry; working at MGM, Comedy Central and a number of start-ups. Over the last five years I have returned to my first passion: photography. My current work consists of portraits and editorial photography, as well as several ongoing personal fine art projects.
