I was born and raised in beautiful Kyiv, Ukraine - a place that wholly shaped my artistic voice early on. I have been living in the United States for nearly twenty years now, and my connection to my heritage continues to nourish me as an artist and individual. For over a decade I immersed myself in the vibrant energy of New York, honing my craft through personal photography projects, and lending my meticulous retouching skills to high end commercial campaigns, editorials, fine art exhibitions, and photography books. I publish my personal work as Koloméa, and maintain a satellite studio practice in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas.
