I was born in 1972 in Mérida, Venezuela. I am a photographer and graphic designer with over 20 years of experience in editorial design, brand identities, publishing and projects relating to literature and arts.
In 2003 I enrolled at Roberto Mata Taller de Fotografía in Caracas, Venezuela. Also studied at Organización Nelson Garrido (La ONG).
I have participated at the workshop Cádiz: Exploring Your Own Vision with Alex Webb (Magnum Photos) and Rebecca Norris Webb. Also participated at the workshop The Portrait and its Edition, with Antonin Kratochvil (Seven Agency); and Shadow's Elegy with Luca Pagliari.
The main core of my work is the representation of territory trying to transform landscape into images with evocation that tell about my relation with places I photograph. Time’s sediment and memory are some of my interests.
I work and live in Caracas, Venezuela and teach photography at Roberto Mata Taller de Fotografía, CiEF and Organización Nelson Garrido (La ONG).
