Lesia Maruschak (b.1961) is a curator, photographer and visual artist living in Ottawa, Canada. She has a MA in ethnography from the University of Saskatchewan, an MBA from the University of Ottawa. Maruschak’s signature is is defined by a sensibility layered with emotionality and meaning. She thrives through the exploration of the medium of photography, its frameworks and what we understand to be an image. Her works delve into a visual exploration of our understanding of reality, identify, and reinvention.
