I was born in Armenia during the military conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The conflict forced my family to relocate. We moved to Kazakhstan not long after the collapse of the the Soviet Union. I studied music, languages, history and international relations in my hometown.
I moved to the United States in 2012, following the first opportunity to travel overseas on my own. I bought my first camera and haven't stopped photographing since.
My work is very intuitive. I am interested in exploring human nature and the documentary storytelling.
I currently live in Portland, Maine where I study Psychology at the University of Maine.
