I have been a (generalist) advertising/illustrative photographer for 25 years and work from my studio in Wellington New Zealand.
I travel whenever I can afford and like to do my photography projects alone. I love to wander down a narrow street that looks promising, chat to the locals and. with some luck, find someone who is happy enough for me to take their photograph. I am inspired by the work and work ethic) of Steve McCurry- partly because I attended one of his workshops in India.
I'm particularly interested in the Middle East and South East Asia. I travel to Morocco once a year as my wife is from there- tough country for people photography...
