Storyteller, photographer, adventuress, speaker. My work lives on the crossroads of art, body, culture and change.
I'm the founder of Lolo’s Boudoir, and have for the past 14 years photographed about a thousand women of all ages and stages in life. My work and writing have been featured internationally in Instyle, Cosmopolitan, People's Magazine, Light Journal, Model Society, SF Chronicle, Huffington Post, Examiner, East Bay Express, 7×7, Daily Candy and many Danish magazines.
My work has been exhibited at venues in San Francisco and beyond: “Belle Du Jour” by Lost Art at the Castro Theatre, “SF Faces 2.0” at City Hall and Hotel Des Arts by SOMA ARTS, "Femmeology" at Backstage Gallery, "Dream Girls" at The Mina Dredsen Gallery, and in Vevey, Switzerland, a town square exhibit by Peter Scholl.
My award-winning memoir, Seeing Red: A Woman's Quest for Truth, Power and the Sacred (She Writes Press) is about my personal dance with freedom and takes you to a holy mountain in Tibet, through marriage in San Francisco and into the arms of Kali in Kathmandu.
My next book, Embody: Intimate Photographic Encounters with Women (Lone Morch 2018) is due end of February. Stay tuned for release date and book parties in San Francisco, Paris, and Copenhagen.
