Luciana Queiroz is a Brazilian photographer and journalist. She lived abroad for 8 years (US and Spain) and started to dedicate herself to photography when she retuned to Brazil, in 2012.
She collaborated with publications such as Maailman Kuvalehti (Finland), Perfil (Argentina) and UOL (Brasil). In Rio, Luciana participated in the exhibition Focupação - an open-air event that featured the work of photojournalists during the protests that started in June 2013.
Luciana volunteers at PARES Cáritas RJ, an NGO supported by the UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency) that assists refugees in Rio.
Her work is focused mainly on social and political issues. She currently lives in Rio de Janeiro.
