Luís Salvador was born in Beja in 1990, and grew up between the Swiss Alps and the vast plains of Alentejo. He currently lives in the beautiful small village of Entradas, Castro Verde, which was recently classified as a "UNESCO Biosphere Reserve".
From a young age, he was passionate about Alentejo and its landscapes, and started taking special notice of the fields, the nature, and the people, which he started capturing with a camera.
In 2013, Luís graduated in Biology at the University of Algarve. Currently, he works at Herdade dos Grous, where he develops outdoors activities and photographic projects to promote the natural heritage of this region.
In 2018, he, along with Napoleão Mira, published his first book, "A Luz de Santiago", and organized an exhibition with the same title. In these, through words and pictures, they express their love for, and attention to, the region they call home.
