About Marcin T. Jozefiak

Marcin T. Jozefiak is a Polish-British visual artist and photographer who works in Seoul and Berlin. Jozefiak immigrated to South Korea, where he began focusing on themes of lost identity.
His work aims to bridge the subject and the viewer and strengthen people who feel like they are not part of society by discovering his subject's unnoticed beauty. He believes that raising awareness can change people's perceptions of what they fear, which he hopes to achieve through his practice.
His "Fearless Flowers" project explores gender, sexuality, gaze, and identity in South Korea. The project, photographed over two years with 23 participants, celebrates self-expression, inclusivity, and individual beauty. His latest project is a short film, "Identity Monologues, " exploring self-discovery and human connection.
His previous work, "Ma Anand Sheela now. Life after Wild Wild Country," was showcased at the National Portrait Gallery in London as part of the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize. His latest project and book, "Fearless Flowers," had a solo exhibition in Seoul and Rotterdam and was called “2023’s most arresting photo series from around the world” by DAZED.
Marcin T. Jozefiak's work is a testament to the beauty of human expression and the power of art to challenge preconceptions. His "Fearless Flowers" series and "Identity Monologues" film encourage inclusivity and celebrate self-expression. Through his work, Jozefiak aims to make a difference and raise awareness of critical societal issues.
