Margaret Kay Dodd, an award-winning graphic designer, editor, publisher, self-publishing consultant, and self-taught photographer, has been photographing since 1990. Australian-born, she moved to the United States of America in 1960 via Singapore, and has also lived in Kenya and England. After working in New York City in publishing with some of the top New York publishers, she founded Yellow Dog Graphic Works in Santa Barbara, California in 1978, followed later by Studio K Communication Arts. She has designed and produced many books and fine art catalogs for museums, galleries, and artists. Her indie imprint, Blue Palm Press, publishes books on the arts, nature, and the human condition. She lives both in Santa Barbara, California and Den Haag, The Netherlands.
