My name is Maria Pachou. I was born in 1997 and raised in Rhodes, Greece. I was drawn to photography from an early age, being influenced by the 3 generations of photographers in my family. Being an adolescent, I was working by my father's side in our photography lab while also doing jobs as an assistant photographer in other photo studios. After finishing school, I came to Athens to study photography in AKTO Art and Design College. During those years, I mastered my craft by working in photography jobs in various occasions, and also taking part in competitions and exhibitions. I am particularly interested in photojournalism and street photography.
